GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF JOB:
Provides part-time, temporary support to the Project Management Office through structured learning assignments focused on project documentation, analysis, and research in a public-sector environment.
DUTIES:
- Assist with documenting basic workflows, inventories, and process steps under supervision.
- Support updates to training materials including screenshots and formatting in County-standard templates.
- Help prepare simple project summaries to support understanding of project reporting.
- Conduct guided research on PMO best practices, standards, and documentation methods.
- Support meeting preparation and notetaking to build professional communication skills.
- Organize and maintain project-related documentation in accordance with PMO standards.
- Participate in learning activities to build foundational project management skills.
REQUIREMENTS:

Education and Experience:
- Current enrollment in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in Project Management, Business Administration, Information Systems, Public Administration, Data Analytics, or a related field.
Pre-Employment Additional Requirements:
- Must successfully pass pre-employment testing which includes an acceptable motor vehicle record (MVR) and background check.
- Possession of a valid Class “R” Colorado Driver’s License or the ability to obtain one within two weeks of appointment.
- Security clearance required: will require fingerprinting and a Colorado Bureau of Investigation (CBI) background check.
Post-Employment Requirements:
- Successful completion of annual Colorado Justice Information System (CJIS) training.
- Work locations and facilities are subject to change based on business need.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Work is generally confined to a standard office environment.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
