GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF JOB:
Performs a wide variety of general clerical duties to support the District Attorney’s office, including but not limited to scanning and file management. Works with confidential information.
DUTIES:
- Scans and organizes files to ensure that files are complete.
- May operate, printer, scanner, and PC to view scanned or electronically received documents for image quality. May operate a multifunction device to copy, scan, and/or fax documents; ensures that machine is clean, functioning, and adequately stocked with paper.

- Ability to accomplish work in a timely and efficient manner; work independently and in a team.
- Ability to operate standard office equipment; and personal computer, telephone, copier, fax machine.
- Ability to follow simple oral and written instructions.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with superiors and fellow workers; ability to communicate effectively with same.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs at a time.

Education and Experience:
- High school graduation or GED equivalent.
Additional Pre-Employment Requirements:
- Must successfully pass pre-employment testing which includes an acceptable motor vehicle record (MVR) and background check. (other options: Physical capabilities examination, drug screen, polygraph).
- Possession of a valid Class “R” Colorado Driver’s License or the ability to obtain one within two weeks of appointment.
- Security clearance required: will require fingerprinting and a Colorado Bureau of Investigation (CBI) background check.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Work is generally confined to a standard office environment.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Spends 50% of the time sitting and 50% of the time either standing or walking.
- Occasionally lifts, carries, pulls or pushes up to 20 lbs.
- Occasionally uses cart, dolly, or other equipment to carry in excess of 20 lbs.
- Occasionally climbs, stoops, kneels, balances, reaches, crawls and crouches while performing office or work duties.
- Verbal and auditory capacity enabling constant interpersonal communication through automated devices, such as telephones, radios, and similar; and in public meetings and personal interactions.
- Constant use of eye, hand and finger coordination enabling the use of automated office machinery or equipment.
- Visual capacity enabling constant use of computer or other work-related equipment.

- Constantly: Activity exists more than 2/3 of the time.
