The Arapahoe County Sheriff's Office is responsible for law enforcement and public safety in Arapahoe County, Colorado. Led by Sheriff Tyler S. Brown, the office comprises three bureaus: Detentions, Public Safety, and Support Services. The responsibilities of the Arapahoe County Sheriff include keeping and preserving the peace, serving and executing all processes, writs, precepts, and orders issued by lawful authorities, and serving the civil courts of record held in the County. The ACSO serves a diverse population across urban and rural areas, ensuring law enforcement coverage for unincorporated areas, multiple municipalities, and county facilities.
